I run the notifo beta on my samsung i9100 android phone.
It worked perfect for a week or so, and yesterday it just ceased popping up notifications.
I am subscribed to push.ly and I have not gotten a single notification for tweets (like 30 tweets) in two days. Worse is: I open the notifo app, and there they are. No need to hit "refresh", it just didn't bother to vibrate/sound (which I've checked and are enabled in the preferences).
I restarted the phone, opened up the notifo app, and still nothing. I am not runing any "task killer". I tested sending me emails to the xxx@push.notifo.com address, and they show up on the notifo website, but nothing the cell phone.
I am facing the same issue too
I recently upgraded my handset from a HTC Wildfire (running Cyanogen 7.1.0-RC1), to a HTC Incredible S running the stock Sense ROM.
The wildfire worked perfectly with notifo beta, but the incredible just doesnt seem to receive the notifications. When i open the app it lists the notifications from the site, but not as they come in.
Am i overlooking something, or is this a problem with the Android Beta?
Nexus s with MIUI (2.3.4 based)
Stopped getting notifications lately
Still getting them on the iPad
Looks like it's android related problem
Same issue here on Android. It *was* working, but eventually I noticed I'm not getting notifications when I'm supposed to. Using the test button on the setup page doesn't work either. It creates the notification within notifo, but doesn't send the notification to my phone. If I manually refresh the notifications list in the notifo app on my phone, they show up, but still doesn't beep or vibrate my phone.
Samsung Galaxy S II (Android 2.3.3)
Notifo v1.0.15
Me too. Seemed to stop working last week sometime. Messages show up in the application, but nothing appears in the notification bar, no alarm, no vibrate. Had been working perfectly for many, many months previously .. I've not changed anything on my phone (HTC Desire, rooted, stock HTC 2.2) that I know of.
(Long shot: could it be related to G+ app?)
I still love Notifo and want this to work some time in the future. This is one app I'm willing to pay to get it working, it is so awesome and needed for me. Refreshing and following this page every single moment. I hope the developers answer here or to my messages some day soon.
I will push this thread now as well, maybe this can be the basement for further discussions?!
I've got the same issue as described. Notifo receives notifications, but doesn't push it forward to my mobilephone. If I open the Android App, the messages are getting loaded.
Deleting the App + everything what is related to it from my phone + reinstall didn't take any effect. Also creating a new Notifo Account doesn't change anything.
Wiping the App-Cache + deleting all Data doesn't change anything.
Deleting all existing messages from my Account didn't change anything.
Checking all the options available didn't change anything...
I think I've tried almost everything from my side, except reinstalling my mobile - what I'm not going to do for Notifo.
I guess it's an error of the push service on Notifosite.
Hopefully it's getting fixed, otherwise I might check for an alternative service - even if I actually liked this one (the few days it was working for me) and would even have paid for it.
Cheers,
cm

I have had to purchase notify my android and set this up to get around this problem. Samsung Galaxy S2. using API keys its actually a bit nicer than notifo... Was anyone using the api keys in notifo or just push email?

Same here..good as new
Same issue here... Multiple iPhones stopped getting push notifications from Notifo at the exact same time. I am getting other push notifications and I know Notifo is getting the notification requests because I see them in my histories. Any word from Notifo on if this is being addressed??? Time to switch back to boxcar/prowl?
Yep, mine is also working. I also wish that there would be some response or notification on the main website when the service is down.BrianAz said:Working again here. Obviously someone saw the complaints and did something about it. I just don't understand why there's no formal response from Notifo staff. Should we be looking elsewhere? Do I need to follow you on twitter or something? Thx
Push is not working on androids today. :( Good thing I use an iPhone!
It's apparently stopped working for me again. Don't know when, exactly, as I was on holiday recently and disabled sending while I was away.
Notification shows up on the website, but I don't get an alert on the phone, and I have to refresh my alerts to see it in the alert list.
(Using python wrapper around the API)
Here's an email you all will have received from the developer behind Notifo:

Hi there,
This is Chad, founder of Notifo. I wanted to reach out because you are an account owner of one or more Services on Notifo. This email is an announcement of some sad news.
Over the past 20 months, Notifo has tried to be the best notification platform for multiple endpoints including iPhone, Android, Growl, Email, and a few more. Notifo has been my full-time job during this time.
However, Notifo never gained enough traction with publishers or consumers to make enough revenue to pay the bills and sustain it as a company. As such, I have had to seek full-time employment elsewhere in order to pay my own living expenses.
What does this mean for you and Notifo? Practically, it means that I will no longer be working full-time on Notifo. For now, Notifo will continue to run as-is with no further plans for development but will probably be shut down as a result. I will try to keep it alive as long as possible, but please know that it could go away at any moment. I will do my best to provide at least 30 days notice before Notifo is officially shut down.
While Notifo will continue to run in the interim, I encourage you to find alternative methods to accomplish your services' goals.
Some alternatives include:
- Boxcar for iPhone/iPad - http://boxcar.io/
- Prowl for iPhone - http://www.prowlapp.com/
- SMS with Twilio - http://twilio.com/
- Urban Airship - http://urbanairship.com/
I want to thank all of you for using Notifo. I'm deeply sorry about this result.
You may receive a few more emails from me regarding this situation. Please feel free to reply to this email to ask me any questions you may have.
Thanks for all your support,
-Chad
