HELP! Still receiving push notifications after I set quiet hours
  • danielooidanielooi September 2010

I have set my timezone correctly (asia)
Set to on, start from 10PM to 9AM but it's 10:30PM now and I am still receiving push notifications.
Any ideas how to fix this? or it works only in US timezone?

Hi Daniel, I've updated some code which should hopefully fix this issue. Please let us know if you continue to get audible notifications during quiet hours.

Hi Jazzy I still receiving push, the only way not to receive any push during quiet hour is to disable the notification myself when I'm going to sleep. Sometimes I just forgot to turn it back on.

How about you guys? Do you receive any push during your quiet hours? or you guys doesn't sleep at all? =D
    Thanks!

Hi Daniel, during quite hours, are you hearing a sound when the notifications come in? The way quiet hours work now is that the notification will still arrive and turn on the screen, but it should be silent. Is that what is happening, or are you hearing a sound as well?

Hi Jazzy, no more sound! Thanks! If I want to stop receiving push notification, I will need to sign out or just disable the notification in the setting?

We're considering adding an option to make all notifications "Stealth" (unless they are Important) during quiet hours, so the notifications won't come through, but they will still appear in your timeline when you refresh it in the app. In the meantime, if you want to disable notifications for Notifo during quiet hours, you can turn off notifications in the Settings app.

    Hi all,

I would like to bring up this topic again.

I am currently in +8 timezone, Hong Kong.
I set my quiet hour to be 3pm to 1pm (so only 1pm to 3pm is supposed to receive notification).
However, it is already 5 ~ 6pm in Hong Kong, but I kept receiving notifications, are there any problem with the quiet hour settings? Would it be a problem if I set quiet hour range from 3pm to 1pm?

Please help, I would like to receive notification from 1pm to 3pm with a high volume of push alerts.

PS: I tried setting pushly to both "Momentary" or "Normal", but I still keep getting notifications when I am not in the quiet hour range.

Seems that no matter how I set the quiet hour, the quiet hour doesn't work
