Deleting notifications on the iPhone app only delete them from the iPhone app, at the moment. However, deleting from the website is permanent. If you delete from the website though, they will still be loaded in the timeline of the iphone app (unless you have notifications load from a newly installed app that has not loaded the timeline before). Refreshing only looks for new notifications and does not look for deleted past items and remove them.

Unfortunately this is the expected behavior at the moment. We definitely want to make these actions more global though!

I am temporarily using it until Sean Kovacs has push notifications for GV Mobile+. Honestly, I currently have no other need for it. That could always change!

I second the global syncing of deleted notifications.

I have a scraper sending me new apartment listings from craigslist. I "check them off" by deleting them, sometimes on iPhone, but through the comp if I have access.
